- New Year means a New Addition to the site coming!
- With the recent flux of photographic work, I am
adding a photography section to the site. It will focus a lot more on images I
have taken of bands and people in general. That is not to say other subjects
will not appear. Heavily manipulated images will still appear in the regular
gallery section. I am very happy to now offer this section. Also, as a result,
I am available for shoots.

- At last an update!
- Wow, it has been quite a while since I have updated
this. Many apologies. In the past few months, I have been very engrossed in my
racing schedule. Since my last update, I have run two marathons, completed a
couple of small pieces and looked into moving still. However, the most notable
project was doing a marquee for the Cabaret Theatre in New Brunswick for one
of their shows. Aside from a few mishaps, it was a tremendous time. And it
looks like I will be doing several pieces for them in the future. In addition,
there are a few other projects connected to the theatrical world coming down
the pipe that I am super excited about in the new year. Besides that I have
stepped up my photography equipment to create even more fantastic work. Plus,
it will allow me to put photos of the projects not online currently up as my
previous camera went missing in Philadelphia.

- Happenings around the studio
- Things around the PopactionArt Center have been
rather lax for the past few months. Relocation plans are still in effect but
it may no longer be Philadelphia. After some home renovations, I have managed
to start work on a few new pieces. If you were at the Raritan River Fest on
9/30/06, you got to see the latest. Also, I recently completed a duck piece
for a show in Spain. For photos of the Albus Cavus ducks, check out their
site. In the meantime, I will be working on a few projects in between my
training for the NYC Marathon.

- Sights & Sounds
Show: 7/14/06
- Albus Cavus has organized a one night show next
Friday, July 14th at the Starbucks Cafe & Kilmer Park located on the corner of
Albany & George Streets in New Brunswick. I have been asked to contribute some
work to this amazing event that will feature music outside as well as artwork
both in and out. This once in a lifetime event is scheduled to run from 5:30
to 9pm. This might be your last chance to see some of my work publicly for a
little while before I go back into hiding.
-
- - On Hiatus
- Due to an upcoming relocation to Philadelphia and an
accident last month, things will be a bit slow around these parts with respect
to the site. However, I assure you there are things in the works that will
rock your socks. Also, I do want to mention the 'PopPollock' show in the train
station was a huge success! Thanks to all those that came out and picked up
some work.

- 431 Gallery Closed
- At this time, I am sad to announce that the Albus
Cavus Gallery in Highland Park I have been helping to run is shutting down due
to the landlord finding a new tenant for the space. Relocation plans at this
time have not been discussed due to the recent announcement which caught us
all by surprise.
- "PopPollock" (working show
title) Solo Show, Train Station New Brunswick, NJ - Opening May 5th
- "Are we dead yet?" Show,
Highland Park, NJ - March 24th to April 23rd
- -Albus Cavus show closing
Party on March 3rd
- An update regarding the 431 Raritan Avenue show, it
has just been announced that there will be a closing party for the current
show on March 3rd from 7-10pm. On that night, we will be capping off what
already has been a hugely successful exhibit. So if you have no yet come by to
check out all the magnificent art March 3rd will be your last chance to see
this particular show. Also of note is that on the following day, the gallery
will have a work party as the space is going to be given a small face lift.

- -BIG NEWS! :
Exhibit Space To Re-Open!
- Problems with the gallery space at 431 Raritan
Avenue have subsided and the space is due to reopen with a new show on Feb
10th. I have been asked to be a part of the reopening show and will have
work on display. The amount on display will be between 3-5.
-
- -New
Photos Coming Soon!
- In the past couple of weeks, a slew of new works
have been created and are awaiting pictures to upload to the gallery. Look for
those in the upcoming weeks.
-
- -Exhibition Problems
Last weekend the opening of the show at 431 Raritan
Avenue did very well. So well in fact, it has run into problems because of the
popularity. Apparently, the borough is requiring a business license for the
space now. At this time as a result, the exhibit cannot be open to the public.
However, the space is still viewable in terms of passing by and looking
through the window. Also at this time, Albus Cavus and Art Murmur are working
on obtaining all the paperwork to reopen the space. The landlord who is
donating the space to be used is helping cover all costs. For more information

Holiday Offer!
- For the month of December all art offered on
Popaction Art will be available at a 'Make an offer' price. This means if
there is a work of art you might like to own, think how much you would be
willing to pay for it and contact me via phone, mail or email (Popactionart@gmail.com).
If the piece is available and the offer is sound, you shall have yourself a
work of art. In the event the offer is higher than what I typically would
quote it for myself you shall get my cheaper quoted price. (Note: Shipping &

- -Collaborating
& Benefiting
- Recently, I have had the pleasure to create a
special piece for a Hurricane Benefit auction. Organized by Peter Brauch and
Time & Space Limited, the auction is taking place in Upstate New York. From
the buzz, this looks to be a great event. Hopefully, lots of money will be
raised for those who need the help. In addition to the benefit auction, I am
currently working on a collaboration with a local artist that I will share
more information on in the upcoming weeks. This is very exciting because the
artist is one I really enjoy their work so it is a honor to be asked to be
part of this.

-
- -Gallery Section Reorganized &
